Fake Files Search

If you come across a fake file on kazaa,please save the file name,file size,and the file title(software only please) to a text document and e-mail it to Killawat9@cs.com so I can put it on a website about fake files. (only popular and large stuff also,100+ megs)

Popularity doesn't kill the fakes. Still, I doubt most people would go through the effort of checking a site everytime they wanted to download something. Besides, there's sig2dat.

Are there any site which has sig2dat file associated with a non-movie file?

yes, there are several sites which have more than just movies

right now the only one i can think of for sig2dat is the verified section at www.k-lite.tk

sig2dat works most of the time, but is sometimes inacurate and is not fool proof, other link systems such as the one for gnutella network are much better, and there are more sites (that i know of anyway) for other clients


(btw, intresting idea, but i agree, i would rather see a site for files that actually work, i wont take the time to check for fakes, too much of a pain, in theory you only need one working version of something to rule out bad files)

I disagree with you, popularity does kill fakes. If no one shares fakes, who's gonna get it?

And a lot of ppl do check a site about what fake files or real files are out there www.fasttrackmovies.com is a shining example, just take a look at thier forums.
