I was commenting on the program Zalzah and commented about the posting of the article by a certain individual. I, in effect, called him a liar. And it was true to a certain point. I have no contempt for this individual but thought maybe some of you can help me figure out, quite frankly, what the hell he is talking about. Below is 1 of 2 private messages that this user sent to me in regards to my post. The other PM contained nothing of importance. I'll comment under each of his points and state my point of view as to
A. What he "said"
B. What I "said"
Zalzah
1st, i never said that Download.com made the claim. I posted right under that I emailed Zalzah
I never claimed Download.com said that this client connected to Kazaa(fasttrack was what is implied). I claimed you posted, text from the official website, that stated it connected to Kazaa(fasttrack).
2nd, I'm not promoting Zalzah. The reason why I posted it was that people from Kazaa can easily adjust to the interface. It might help Gnutella have a larger user base.
So, in effect, I interpret that as keeping up the claim that the client connects to kazaa(fasttrack), in order to lure Kazaa users into migrating to Gnutella("It might help Gnutella have a larger user base.").
3rd, I know the makers tend to lie. They ripped the FAQ and User Guide off of Kazaa. The User Guide even says "Kreate". And their emails may be fake. They keep on geting sent back.__________________

I agree with you here. All I ask is that you, as a fellow ZP member, make sure you post accurate info when submitting an article for all of us to read. Even if the makers of the program lie to you. Now, if you DIDN'T know that this client does not connect to Kazaa(fasttrack) then that would be okay, but once again I quote you - "The reason why I posted it was that people from Kazaa can easily adjust to the interface. It might help Gnutella have a larger user base." - That means you knew the info was false and posted it anyway. False is false even if you quote someone else. Besides, this isn't a news broadcast, this is YOUR contribution to ZP regarding a program release. If I wanted the makers thoughts and info on the program, I would have went to their website. So for all to know, one last time, Zalzah connects to the GNUTELLA network as Download.com stated. And on a personal note, I don't trust the makers of this program. They lie. Thank you for your time, and sorry if I wasted your time. Now i'm going to go beat myself over the head with my keyboard. Goodbye.
