I am a member for FullcontactZone and there is a huge library of hard to get material. I am wondering, whats the difference between the two trackers and whats better.

I'm only a member of MMA Tracker, but it has everything that I can think of fighting related (individual fights, whole events, instructional videos, any MMA related audio/video clip).

FCZ has other sports as well such as Soccer, F1 and Nascar, but its main focus is on MMA and Combat. I haven't seen a lot of instructional videos, but they seem to have a few scene groups that specialize in Martial Arts dump material into them. The release dates of fights are of that day and extremley good.

Another nice feature about MMA tracker that I really like is that they allow betting on events using upload amounts. You can bet 0.5GB on each fight, and the amount you win is the true amount (no house take), depending on how many people bet with you versus against you.

I have come to the conclusion that both trackers are good. MMA Tracker is nice, because you can bet on fights and has a lot more instructional and ebooks than FCZ. FCZ does have content quicker (I believe) and Its getting a lot more content every day. They are both good trackers, though I still would say FCZ is my favourite. They both compliment each other, there is none better.

I'm a huge MMA fan, but I haven't been able to find anyone with an invite to fullcontactzone or mma tracker. I have invites to TL and revott, and I would trade an invite to each for one to either of the mma sites.

I am a member of both. I like MMA a bit better. The content, in my opinion, seems to reach MMA shortly before Fullcontactzone. There is also more MMA content at MMA...go figure. However, I was quite content with Fullcontactzone before I got in MMA. I like MMA fights more than football, which is what MMA-Tracker is all about. The fights will eventually end up on Fullcontactzone anyways.

Would it would rude to ask if you could possibly give me an invite to mma tracker? I would really appreciate it, even though you most likely won't. :)
Sorry, I wouldn't give an invite to someone that just joins with only a few posts. It's not how the community should work. People should be only inviting people they know, or at least people that have been contributing to the community for some time...not one or two days.

Ditto that. MMAT not only gets content quicker, but it is MUCH faster with a lot more users than FCZ and usually has both scene and non-scene content of the same events, so you have a lot of options. Also, FCZ doesn't seem to get a lot of the non-English MMA content (K1, Rings, etc.), smaller shows, or instructionals, but does have a lot of other sports related stuff. I prefer MMAT strictly for MMA, but it is probably harder to get into since FCZ has open signups frequently.

I can only speak for myself, but I am so sick of invite begging that the only thing you will get from me is bad rep and spam for posting your email address on here.
You should try reading through a couple of threads before you make stupid requests for invites. Like this (http://www.zeropaid.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=45183) one.

I think I am going to beg a mod to add a tic box to the "I agree..." on the sign up page that would make people (redirect) read before signing up, a stickied topic on the subject.
Or does Jorge take care of that?

I am not sure if they have an IRC channel for begging, but I can tell you this, if you want to be invited, the only way would be to know someone that can invite you, which you obviously do not. You can also try hanging around the forum and try to get to know people. You need to read the rules first then make intelligent posts, earn some common respect and maybe after someone here begins to feel some trust, they'll invite you.
Do you not understand the importance of members not inviting strangers? These private trackers are only private and/or somewhat safe as the people we invite. So in a nutshell there is no easy quick way of getting in, unless you are very lucky, but invite begging is not the answer or a means of earning respect. The fact is this community and many others are just plain sick of newbs that join for the sole purpose of invite begging. It is very unlikely to get invited using this method. It's more likely you'll get banned.
I hope this clears things up for you. Please, try and have patience. I know because we were all newbs once.

You don't necessarily need to post on the forum or IRC channel for a specific tracker to get an invite to that tracker. Most folks who have accounts on a private tracker are usually active on multiple trackers, so you may find that by establishing a good reputation and making friends on a public or less exclusive private tracker that has open signups can open other doors for you, ie; invites to other trackers that are more exclusive.
For example, FCZ often has open signups and is not that hard to get into. Once you are there you will find that a lot of the folks are also members of MMAT, so that is probably a good place to start networking.
Be warned that just begging in a different location isn't the answer, you will need likely need to prove yourself first because many trackers now hold the person issuing the invite responsible for folks that they invite to join.

I thin it may be my account. Someone told me my account was disabled, not removed just disabled. It might be because of my avatar. I got overly excited and created one which could be viewed as a spoiler to a fight, though you couldn't really tell who's in the avatar unless you actually saw the fight itself. Was also sure not to just post it any where, but only in the spoiler sections of the comments.
If you have access there, could you ask one of the admin to contact me? If needed, I can pm you my email address and username there.
Thanks for any and all your help!

basy88...try reading the forum rules first. Invite begging is not allowed. It actually pisses ppl off, cause we're all sick of it. I have invites to MMA, but I sure as hell wouldn't invite you.

I guess I've got some readig to do. thanks for he advice, I had no idea there was anything relevant to invite trading in the FAQ or whatever.
To get back ON topic, then...
mma-tracker is still running, I gather. My interest is more in instructionals than older MMA stuff (FCZ gets all the current stuff that's popular). Am I correct that folks post BJJ instructionals, etc, on mma-tracker? Also, do they tend to have stuff that's NOT either Price, KOTC or UFC? I'd love to see more Canadian events, for instance, and FCZ doesn't carry much of that.
GuyFawks
January 15th, 2008, 06:09 PM
Yes you are correct. But mma-tracker gets both. The sad thing Is that a lot of scene groups (such as KYR and MAM) are not showcased there as most people get stuff from other trackers and places such as Bitmetv and other 0day trackers don't usually host it (I do know RevTT does thankfully.
cmacaoidh
January 16th, 2008, 04:42 AM
Yeah, I like RevTT and FunFile, although I find it easier to maintain ratio on Funfile, for some reason. RevTT I have to leave my stuff seeding for an eternity to get to 1:1, but on FunFile, I've got almost a 3:1, and it's effortless. I have no idea how that works.

January 17th, 2008, 06:51 AM
I like both mma-t & FCZ, both are good. Just mma-t has more mma and their depth of stuff is deeeep! I was able to find things there I haven't seen anywhere else. Unfortunately they are also super strict!
I got banned though I didn't realize what I did was wrong. I created a avatar of Hughs getting tapped out, and posted in the spoiler section. Well that's not even allowed until they say spoilers are allowed. Didn't realize that and now my user account & ip addy has been banned.
After speaking with the mods in IRC, I was informed the username ban is forever, but the ip ban is only 10 days. It's been over two weeks so the ip ban should be lifted.
Not begging only asking for understanding and consideration. You can check both fcz & mma-t, username was the same on both SpamBox. Of course now, if I do get an invite back to mma-t, going to have to start all over again (which really sucks!!!) Please pm if you are able to assist.
Sorry had to post through here, don't have enough posts to use the trading post yet. The only thing I use torrents for anyway now is mma stuff, so not sure what I could trade!

To baksteen and all respected members,
I apologize for my previous and first post. I saw the topic for this thread was MMA Tracker vs. (FCZ) FullcontactZone, and having known about the tremendous educational value of being a member to either of these I couldnt help but inquire about joining. I did not mean to come across as a begger, just a polite, respectful question. I will no longer ask for an invite, but if asking is deemed disrespectful, then how does one become a member?
With such a perceptual expansion of martial arts and open P2P sharing, I would hope to see more co-operation between fellow martial artists. After all, All knowledge is ultimately self knowledge. Is it not? :icon_thum

Well, i'm one of the more high profile FCZ guys and I can assure that FCZ is far from dead.
Also, to the guys looking for mma tracker invites, wake up. My advice would be to join FCZ if you haven't already, when it is open for signup, and work your way up. Once folks "know you" there, you can get an invite to mma. Many, many, many folks are dual FCZ/MMA members.

I know this is my first post on these forums, but I was wondering if someone from MMA Tracker knows what's the length of time of inactivity before they deactivate an account? I was a member on MMA Tracker for almost a year and I stopped using for a couple months and went to log in and my account was deactivated. I didn't think I was inactive for that long (I think the last event I downloaded was UFC 77 or 78 and I tried to log in after UFC 82, so that's what 4 months maybe?)
Anyways luckily I had made a donation to the site while a member so I had an email to contact them. I did get a response back but I'm stilling waiting for them to reactivate.
Anyways this whole thread was supposed to be about FCZ vs. MMAT. MMAT is wwwaaayyyy better for mma based content (why I'm trying so hard to get my account reactivated.) The events are up quicker and if you're looking for training materials it's the place to be. Content d/l's are way faster at MMAT too and I tend to see that even when I'm trying to share, to get my ratio up, I barely ever get someone people to d/l from me at FCZ or at least not enough to help my ratio it seems. Upside is if you want things like American Gladiators (whatever floats your boat) you can get that at FCZ.

Hello RacknRaIL
Would you happen to have an invite for:
FullcontactZone or MMa-Tracker left?
I have Demonoid invites available and around 50 GB of MMA Videos on my hard drive. I would like to continue to expand my collection; an invite would greatly help. Let me know. Thanks

It really doesn't matter about rep. What we need is a mod to ban his beggin' ass and then close this thread.
