Maybe a good site, but what a horrible new user policy. To get credits I have to find the same file on a public site, download it there, and then seed it on tvtorrents? Just plain stupid, IMO.

Just as a quick note, I'm pretty sure TVTorrents is always open for signups...

what the hell are credits

TVTorrents is like the pay-as-you-go cellphone plan of the torrent world. You earn "credit" by uploading, and you spend that credit when you download. Once your credit runs out, your downloads are halted until you earn more. It's a nice system for preventing leeching, but it's tough to get started unless you have someone invite you with a certain amount of free credit.

That aside, I find the layout of the website horrendous to look at. Content's not bad, but nothing you can't find elsewhere.

What's the biggest amount for free Credits invites?
Does it depends on the inviter or is there any maximum for one invite?

I've bitmetv and i'm satisfied with it, but a friend of mine have no seedbox and that's would be a nice way for him to get his prefered tv torrents, i think...

Sven, I believe you can give up to 50GB of credit to an invitee, which is taken out of the inviter's total earned credit. The tracker has good content and is very easy to seed for, especially in comparison to BitMeTV - no issues at all for a seedbox-less torrenter.

Its actually not very tough to get started. Like you see , first find out which TVSeries are the most popular at TvTorrents at the present ? And if they are very popular then they are gonna have nice number of leeches. So fin their latest torrents , download them.
Now go for these latest episodes hunt in public trackers. Download them and come back at Tvt and seed ! You will see, a patience in the beginning pays of many folds!
its a great site, and anyone else telling you otherwise is plain ***** .

I've been a member for a couple months now, it was pretty easy to get started. My advice is go for tv seasons like I did. I got them from TPB and seeded them on TVT. It seems hard because its pay as you go but you do get 1.5x upload credit while seeding so its pretty generous.

I've got to say, this credit system is too limiting. I usually like to download a lot of stuff and seed while I'm watching it.

Thanks nonetheless.

Not really... if you build up a reserve, then you will still be able to do what you're doing now. The credit system really only hurts people who like to keep they're ratio under 1.
