View Full Version : Irish High Court orders ISPs to identify P2P users

Says they must reveal the names of 23 Irish people suspected of illegal file-sharing.
<p>The Irish Recorded Music Association took the country's ISPs to the Irish High Court yesterday to force them to hand over the names and addresses of 23 Irish people suspected of illegal file-sharing, and by days end they had prevailed. </p>
<p>IRMA director director-general Dick Doyle said: “This is the third time we’ve been to the High Court to get the names and addresses of people who are sharing music over the internet and yet people are doing it." </p>
