A Swedish company owned by the founders of controversial torrent tracker site The Pirate Bay is hosting a site that defends paedophilia.
PRQ, co-owned and operated by Fredrik Neij and Gottfried Svartholm Warg, has refused to take the web page down, citing the principle of freedom of speech.

People like these guys and CCSDUDE might be scum, but they have a right to their opinions the same as anyone else.
That's the cost of freedom of speech; human trash has a right to be heard.

That's the problem with radical thinkers. They've got a point at first, but then they just have to step over the line to a place where the general public can't follow them.
It's kind of a self-destruct impulse. Reminds me of Kevorkian.

I can't be the only person who doesn't think Kevorkian shouldn't have been imprisoned. He put to death people who wanted to die, who were terminally ill, and suffering.

first , this is about PRQ allowing some site, not about TPB . Trying to link that up can only be seen as an attempt to damage TPB .
I guess it's best to compare this situation with Freenet . an anonymous encrypted platform , wich makes it inpossible for anyone to remove the content . it all boils down to one thing.
the problem is , that if it's possible to make a site unavailable , it's possible to make any site unavailable (think of criticisms towards a dictatorship ) . However , if it's inpossible to remove a site , it will be abused by people with bad intentions .
I's either one way or the other . either freedom or safety . both PRQ and Freenet take the side of Freedom on this . It's not like they are making an easy choice . remember that before you condemn them .
I prefer this quote : Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety - Benjamin Franklin
