A good alternative(if not better) music site to filemp3 and vipmusic is www.stmusic.org

It seems that they are a spin off of Super-Torrents... I listen to rap and RnB and from my perspective they seem to get music(at least the music I listen to) a day or 2 before the competition. And there have been several occasions where they get albums that filemp3 and vipmusic don't get....

Anyhow thats my two cents...

Doesnt one need an invite code ? do you know where one can get it ? filemp3 seems to have gone into hibernation.. :(

I've had filemp3 for years and recently got STmusic shortly after the Oink fell over and died. ST was better than filemp3 even though it was new which surprised me. I guess I don't even need to try to get vipv2 if what you are saying is true.

A little FYI: If you would categorize a site that's been open (and open sign ups, until OiNK croaked) for over a year as new, okay. STMusic is "new".

(IMHO) it has a much broader selection of music than vip2.

Haha...I guess my sense of time is somewhat distorted. I sometime have to think about what month it is. I should have typed newer instead.

STmusic is decent, I don't like the layout of it though. I remember they had free signups to those who are members at ST's main site.

I had an acct there but after about 4 months or so deleted it as a precaution because of some major security issues they had. I'm not sure anymore, who knows maybe they've ironed them out, but I personally wouldn't open another acct there. As for the selection, it seemed pretty decent while I was there. I can't remember what the speeds were like since I didn't really use it much.

I have had my homepage to STMusic.org for a while now & it seems like the registrations are always closed.

I am resorting to this now... Will someone be kind to please email me an invitation code? My son and I will truly appreciate it.

Thanks

You should start your own site and become better than all of them.
Show them all who is boss.
In the process of creating the worlds best music sharing site, I personally think that there is another thread for that,
but here is the compromise
you will be even more motivated after a year or two of not being a member.
If you decide to start this site for you and your "son" I will gladly throw some music up on there.

Better than nothing. Build up a ratio and you'll end up with invites to other places no doubt.

The only other sites that are better than ST are waffles and what but correct me if I'm wrong. No other sites even come close to the selection of these 3. There are a lot of trackers out there for specific genres but I would just rather get everything at one place. ST also has more people downloading content because of their seed bonus which helps a lot imho.

mccririck

The 5 best music trackers are Waffles, What, Pedro's, STMusic and Exigo. Two of those are lossless only and mega hard to get into.
