Editing MP3 Info

I am editing MP3 details in KazzaLite 2.0.
I have edited over a 1000 files so they all have the right info.
Such as artist, song name, type, etc....
There all nice and neat with spelling and capitals.

Did i just waste my time or does my newly edited MP3 info appear on other programs?
Such as WinAmp or Real?

It dosent seem to be working on WindowsMedia Player!

Is there a way I can transfer over this new MP3 info over to the other players?

Please HELP!!!
I dont want to do this all over again!!

Dude, don't cross post - post the same thing in more then one forum section. People get pissed when you do that.

As for your problem....

Kazaa edit's IDv1-2 tags so if you edited them it should be fine. Just try it! LOL

If you only added to the discription part you kinda screwed cuz that's a Kazaa only thing and the info is written to a .db file. Not to the file itself in a form that other programs can understand.

Just download winamp and edit the mp3 file names with that program .

actually CCSDUDE, i tried it, i edited the title of a song, i even closed kazaa, the i looked at the tag in winamp, niether the IDv1 or 2 tags had been changed, so i dont think kazaa changes anything in those

(in the duplicate thread i went a little more in depth)

Actually your right, I tried it with 1.7.2 and it didn't change it. I recall some other FT program that did have editing working IE it actually changed the tag's hmmmm guess they changed it. XD
