I am editing MP3 details in KazzaLite 2.0.
I have edited over a 1000 files so they all have the right info.
Such as artist, song name, type, etc....
There all nice and neat with spelling and capitals.

Did i just waste my time or does my newly edited MP3 info appear on other programs?
Such as WinAmp or Real?

It dosent seem to be working on WindowsMedia Player!

Is there a way I can transfer over this new MP3 info over to the other players?

Please HELP!!!
I dont want to do this all over again!!

Thank You

Joe

im pretty sure it doesnt. all i know is that kazaa uses a different way of labeling files.

Winamp has id3v1 and id3v12 label were you put the info.Kazza has a info on top of the file but it has nothing to do with the file.I would just rename them right by the file name.like korngoodsong.mp3 change to Korn - Life Is Peachy - good God.mp3 .I know that would show up in window media player.

i really hate to tell you this, but i just tried it, the tags DO NOT carry over to other programs

i believe this info is stored in the DB folder in kazaas program folder

(to test it i took a random mp3, created a name "this song sucks test 1" and closed kazaa, i then opened the file in winamp, the tag had not changed its name)
