Okay I am looking for an arcade controller to use with gametap or MAME (or whatever else might need a good ol' fashioned arcade controller). And I have narrowed it down to 2 controllers. I need advice on which one I should buy:

the hotrod joystick (http://www.hanaho.com/Products/HotRodJoystick.php) is the one I am leaning towards due to it being the cheapest option. But I haven't seen any reviews for it... I have googled a lot to no avail. I don't see any problems with it though.

And lastly The x-arcade two player joystick (http://x-arcade.com/two-player.shtml) would be my other option. This one is 30 bucks more... But from what I have seen people consider it the best out there. But the only thing that looks interesting for me on it is the 8 button layout instead of 7. Is there any arcade games that actually use 8 buttons? or is 7 buttons sufficient? and yeah if this one is substantially better, let me know because I am not sure which one to go for...

EDIT: I decided to go with the X-arcade controller because there were some more features that interested me. Their website seems more updated too. I hope it's good :D

OK, now you can find a game you think you're good at so I can come over there and kick your ass at it.

Leaves the question up for 50 minutes and then answers it...geesh.

I guess you made the right choice, since the X-arcade looks much cooler than the hotrod. Then again, you're going to be tugging on joysticks rubbing your buddy's shoulder with yours as you retro-game yourself into orgasm. Maybe the hot purple was the right one...
