The P2P programs available to you - The one you get used to - The one that's easy for you to use: All contribute the one that you will like and use, at least for awhile.

u torrent works fine for me, i don't use azureus cuz it runs on JVM and man, that shit can screw things up, plus it's too dang slow (in terms of processing speed) than utorrent which was like written in assembly or something :P

I switched from Bittorrent to utorrent....its simple and has a great feature were you can download a single file from a torrent, instead of downloading the whole thing for a single song or episode.

I tried a few different versions of Azureus and they all felt really bloated to me. Bitcomet felt a little leaner, but I didn't like it as much as utorrent.

Utorrent is clean, simple and quick. If you get utorrent, though, make sure it isn't above version 1.6.1. That's the last version before they were taken over by anti-p2p interests.

Also, because of their anti-P2P liason, be aware that some trackers might begin blocking utorrent. Hopefully they'll just block later versions and not make the mistake of blocking the whole thing. That would be tragic.

I agree with mascot.
Whatever works best for you.
I prefer Bit Lord for public trackers and uTorrent for the private ones.

I also love your sig there, mascot!

Wavecatcher, these may be obvious questions, but is your port forwarded correctly and have you chosen the correct speed for your bandwith?

U torrent is the best,

I agree utorrent is the simplist to use for both uploading and downloading. Azureus is a bit too complicated for beginners. I tend to change the bittorrent client i use from time to time jus to try out new ones but im using utorrent at the moment.

It's tough competition between uTorrent and Azureus. But I read in someone's blog... someone who downloaded a 4 GB linux distro to test the 2 clients... that uTorrent marginally won. But this doesn't mean that you can take it for granted. The speed of clients may also depend upon the type of connection and service provider!
