ow, my eyes (lol), no offense, but you really shouldnt type in all caps, it hurts to look at and is considered "yelling at somebody"

now to your question

you said, is it working or not?....well, you would have to tell me, it works for me

as for saftey, nothing is completely safe, but it is about as secure as you can get, if you are running a firewall, then yes, you will have to let it past, thats how it connects to the fasttrack network

as allways, RUN AN ANTIVIRUS PROGRAM, i really can't stress that enough, just running a firewall will not protect you, also make sure your anti virus is updated regularily, otherwise you will be unprotected

one last thing to keep in mind, be smart about what you do, DO NOT download exe files or any other types of potentially harmful file types unless you know for sure what the file is, and just as a precaution, run anti virus scans on everything, thats everything, just to be safe

phalkon30, you got one hell of a patience to decipher this letterworm in caps and no punctuation. If the above poster was a guy, I'd recommend to keep the keyboard clean or cover it so that the keys don't stick. Here, we probably have to ask to wait until the nail polish is dry before hammering down on the keyboard.

Don't use 2.2 here.....I'll stick to 1.7.2 till they shut it down. Then I'll move onto RR heh.....

As for that caps crap.....bah! Damn n00b's LOL

Antivirus software is over rated IMHO.....I don't use it and the one time that I did it didn't do much for me and just bogged my system down. I've been without A/V software since the day I laid my hands on a PC and I've never gotten one...yes one virus. Be careful and keep an eye on what you download! A/V crap gives you a false sense of security. People can just embed a virus then remove some header crap and bam now you gotta brand spankin new strain of whatever virus you used. That A/V software CAN'T detect.

Anyway just my 2 cent's....

im not using 2.02 either, i like 2.00, works great for me

and for antivirus, i go to enough "naughty" sites or hacker sites, that i dont want to risk a virus, especially because i am on a network with 2 of my dads buisness computers, which connect to another 7 at his work, i have never noticed a slow down because of norton (even when i was back on my 233, it wasnt that bad)

i know some stuff goes by it, but how often does that happen, i only rely on av for a backup if i do something stupid really
