hey all,
I've come across lots of times where having a site like this would've been extremely helpful - not only do I intend people to share ebooks, but college software, book accessories (dvds/cds), lectures in audio/video formats, solution manuals, and all other manner of class materials (essays, reports, etc..)
So if you're interested in sharing some edu materials, stop by and join up. we have a baby population, and the tracker itself is fairly new and hopefully there arent too many problems (let me know of course). I will be trying to keep up the maintenance myself until I can get help from other people.
and thanks again =D

Perhaps, and the reason it didn't ask me what I was doing is probably because I haven't logged in for a while.

the "correo" field is asking for email address, and the image code is a bit picky but works eventually. Seems like a cool tracker.

It's about doing something to help others (mainly new people in P2P) realize they do NOT have to get into the "trading game" for sites they think they "need".

makes sense. I actually have joined pisexy, leecherslair, arenabg and smoking in the rain because of this thread. But as I browsed through their torrents there's not really much in there to be excited. When I was a noob to p2p I got access to many torrents in Demonoid that I can't find elsewhere (I was not able to become a member so I had to content myself with 3 rare torrents a week). I'm not sure I can say it with most of these sites. Im just waiting to join ftwr or ftn or sct or whatever. Maybe they'll be better.

Those sites are no better than any other, and if you are using this thread to up your post count in order to access the trading section, please don't.

They do not list the seeders\leechers, you have no idea what the health of a torrent is without trying to download it. It has a scrappy international forum for english speakers with ONE post in it.
THIS is the kind of information that needs to be brougt to this thread.

I looked, you looked. It's Bulgarian and my educated guess would be that the site is for Bulgarian users. I post for everyone. Not select individuals.

Actually, it's Latvian. Usually a Latvian site has "lv" at the end.
The same for Bulgarian (.bg), Romanian (.ro), Russian (is actually .ru), Hungarian (.hu), so on and so forth.
I guess because I am used to the abbreviations, it doesn't matter to me, But yes. Language description is something I almost always list.
You keep em in line, DL!

For those of you noobs with shitty UL speeds (or those who just prefer "pay to leech"), here ya go. 20 USD gets you 400GB of upload credit and there's no Hit N' Run system. Speeds are average to better-than-average and it's all pretty much scene releases. If all you want is Prison Break, new albums, and 0-day shit, it's the only site you'll need.
They got me through a few months when I couldn't upload properly (I didn't have my own internet access and was stealing the neighbors wireless signal for a couple hours a night).

Thanks to Helena's "spam" - how many trackers have you signed up for?
I've signed up to around 70 trackers from this thread alone, granted I hardly use most of
them, but they've also indirectly led me to join SCT, SCC, TTI, IPT, WHAT, and a few other
high level trackers that are considered Level 5 & 6.
If you were smart, you would join these lesser known trackers, meet people,
and get invited to the high level stuff, which hardly ever has open sign ups.
You think SCT will ever have open sign ups? Not a chance, but there are other
ways of joining there, and you definitely have to know people.

And just to rub your noses back in it, let me recap something. robincheema has tried pretty gd hard as a newbie to fit in here, hasnt really attacked anyone and after putting up with lots of shit still tried to keep some report. So my marks go to robincheema for trying.
I don't care who kisses helenap's ass it doesnt affect me whatsoever, but if someone intends to go gangland on everything that robincheema says, you might want to reconsider. That's a strong hint.

Today's lesson in Internet Behavior
-Think before you type-
The following is an example of Person A making a joke:
Helena can i call you "spama rama"? just for fun?
anyways is any big tracker open yet?
The following is an example of a Person B apparently not following the flow of the community and not remembering that Person A has been around a while. Person B then makes an ill-advised smart ass comment:
Thanks to Helena's "spam" - how many trackers have you signed up for?

To which the regulars shudder at the realization that some idiots still thinks that arbitrary tracker "ratings" (ooh, this is a level 5...) actually matter. The entire point of this community is to have quick access to the files that YOU want. Revtt and the like are worthless if you have no need for the files they have available. The "if you were smart" comment reeks of a pretentiousness that thoroughly disgusts me. You say you've been trolling here long enough to have joined 70 sites from this thread. You didn't notice Robin was here 6 months before you? Or are you just not smart enough to understand humor?
A couple of simple internet techniques:
1. Think before you open your big mouth.
2. If you have no clue what you're talking about STFU.
BTW...Helena can defend herself. Again, something you'd know if you actually read the posts rather than just looking to add to your tracker collection.
EDIT
I did my gangland long ago. If he ever insults me again (guess you missed that day or don't give a shite. Probably both.), he will most likely get insulted BACK, by me.
Really? You thought that was an insult? I REALLY though it was a joke. Maybe I'm the one who's fucked up.I have to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and assume that they're smart enough to realize how much you contribute. One would have to be awfully dumb to really believe that your posts are spam, that's all I'm saying.

I was just stating what I thought, I don't see many people contributing to this thread,
rather most simply complain over things, and get into worthless arguments.
People here love to argue in this thread over non-sense. Case and point the last
few posts here that started over non-sense.
My comment wasn't supposed to be a smart ass comment, but rather a response
on how to better spend your time once you actually join these trackers, and try and get
yourself into the higher level trackers. Everybody knows that the tracker ratings are
based on how hard it is to sign up for the trackers, and the content they carry, and
yes you can get most content on some of the lesser known trackers.
But, not all trackers are created equal, and the higher level trackers have amazing speeds,
and the most up to date content, which is why they hardly, if ever, have open sign ups,
and on most high level trackers, the only way to get in is with an invite.
Yes I could get the exact same torrent from Tracker A & Tracker B, but I guarantee you
that on 1 tracker it will take me 2 - 4 days to download, while the other will take 1 - 2 hours.
( I'm talking about torrents up to 7 GB in size ) Whether it gets uploaded to my seed box or not.
There's also no comparison between a level 6 tracker dedicated to TV shows &
a level 2 tracker from over seas also dedicated to TV, I don't want to name tracker
names, but you should know the 2 trackers in question, and the level 6 tracker has
amazing speeds, and the absolute best up to date content, while the other tracker
lags far behind in both.
So in my case, tracker levels DO matter, for the type of content and speeds
that I'm after. Plus, on most "Lower Level" tracker, is really hard to keep a
good ratio, since they don't have a lot of active users leeching. So there's really
no point sometimes to download from them, if you can't at least seed back to 1:1.
The "if you were smart comment" wasn't meant to put Robin down, but rather
as a generalization of what people should be doing when they join the trackers.
you mis-understood what I wrote, see how that tends to happen?
You're a perfect example of mis-reading the meaning of what others type, and not
understanding the true meaning of what they're trying to say.
If you scroll back a few pages, you'll notice I tried posting open trackers with open
sign ups, to try and give back to this thread, but I just don't have time to keep it up
every single day, and I'm just not sure how Helena does it.
Robin, sorry bro for not recognizing your sarcasm, I was glancing at posts,
and added my 2 cents rather quickly.
I'm not trying to kiss Helena's ass, I have nothing to gain by it, I'm already in all the
trackers I want and need, but I think every once in a while people could give Helena a
simple thank you for all the time she spends doing what she does.
Because of all her posts, I've joined some great trackers, which led me to the higher
level trackers that matter to me.
That was supposed to be the true meaning of my post. :icon_thum

Who determines the "level" of the tracker? It's simply a made up number, same as Stairway to Heaven's all time ranking in Rolling Stone magazine or The 10 Best Yadda Yadda of All Time. If there was even the most basic formula to contrast and compare sites and give them actual ratings, I'd buy in. But for now it all boils down to opinion.
To illustrate:
In my rating system, Bitsoup is equal to RevTT. Why? Speeds are identical (both usually max out my FIOS, both up and down). RevTT wins on pre-times by 10-15 minutes on average. Bitsoup wins on selection. RevTT has global ratio and HnR system, Bitsoup only cares about global ratio (and you can buy...err donate in exchange for upload credit, CHEAP). I never download apps, docs or music and don't interact with the community (I have a HUGE fuckin mouth that won't stay shut. I've lost access to too many sites to make that mistake again) so, for me, Bitsoup=RevTT.
One thing's for sure: As much shit as we fling around this thread, it's silly for someone to get all butt-hurt about any of it (especially on behalf of someone else). Grab your bong and sing along, "Kumbaya my lord..."

So thats why i try to avoid to be very complicated online because you never know.
so just try to enjoy the stay and trust me i got nothing against you or anything against anyone to insult any1. I never hated you and probably won't and i like your posts.

There's a popular forum that determines the ranking system, It's just to figure where each
site stands RARITY-WISE. Use Rankings Between Brackets For [Content,Speed,Pre-Times]
It is for classifying sites from level 1 to 10 based on their rarity
• 1 being the easiest to get into a site and 10 the hardest.
• This has nothing to do with contents of the trackers.
• Ratings of trackers themselves are in the [#] tags.
You're right in that the tracker levels don't mean much, but it all depends on what you're
after, the speeds you want, and where you can actually signed up. And how easy
it is for you to sign up there.
You won't see BitmeTV or SCT with open signups any time soon, if ever for that matter,
and that's where the levels come in to play.
While Bitsoup has open signups regularly, RevTT will not open up its doors again
this year, and the only way to join is with an invite. Thus, Bitsoup[8] is Level 1,
and RevTT [10] is considered level 3, though it should be ranked higher.
But once you're signed up...
Bitsoup rocks when you buy their upload credit. You get so many GB's for such little $$$,
heck, I donated to them for this fact alone, since it gives a nice buffer, and Bitsoup
is one of the few trackers I use on a regular basis.
Speeds are ok, not comparable to Rev that's for sure, but they're decent.
In my experience, RevTT has the best speeds, that is until I joined SCT, the speeds there
are insane, seems that 70% of people in there are using a seed box. On another popular
tracker I leeched a 7 GB torrent in 20 minutes! Now, those are crazy speeds that are
nearly un-attainable anywhere else!
Ok the bong is coming out, and I'll sing along with ya! "Kumbaya my lord..." LOL

Two cents worth....
I am in agreement that tracker ratings are nonsense... Trackers are very subjective
I've signed up to a few off this thread and found them to be quite redundant to me. Once you have one scene tracker, 0 day bla bla, that's all you need.
To be honest I keep my eye on this thread in the vain hopes of finding a replacement for the long lost demon, whom I miss so desperately. I want trackers that can give me that 1970s classic that I loved when I was just a wee lad, etc.
but according to the silly rating system being debated here, the kind of site I'm after would be like a level -3 1/3 or some such poppycock!
Now why don't you children all play nicely before you have to go to bed without any supper?? Honestly I just don't know what to do with you! :)

I love these sites that have about zilch English in them. On one, I had no idea what my stats were, I couldnt find my own profile just randomly clicking on shit.
Then, I got a 1 in a form field that looked like I had a PM, so I clicked it.
It was indeed a PM and I had no idea what the hell it said. There was a link in it so I clicked it and sure enough, was another Elite signup site.
So I registered, still cant read jack shit, but did see the word English, so I clicked it. I was the first to make a post in the English section.
Actual post "I can't read a word of either site. I just keep seeding and see of the hookers show up next."
On another foreign site, I recently discovered I had 40gb upload credit . . .

For the people that are looking for a tracker with music production software, keep in mind that on the 2nd of March both audionews.ru and gfxnews.ru will be open for registrations. I've only signed up on audionews.ru and I find it better than audiotracer (which is open today as already mentioned a couple of pages back), both in content (5000+ torrents) and users (triple digit peers in some torrents on the first page, can't say the same for audiotracer). I'll make a post on that day if someone else doesn't do so first, just keep the dates in mind if you're interested.

Looked for 2 minutes, didn't see any stats. Looked to be 2-80 seeders on most torrents.
But as an added bonus:
Freeleech-Mode has been ENABLED
All torrents are Freeleech so only upload amount is counted, rule to seed still applies.
All torrents are freeleech until 2008-02-29 13:00:00 GMT
