Yes, the µtorrent versions 1.7.1 - 1.7.5 is banned.

This is because they sent false reports back to the tracker.

Get insted the 1.6.1 build 490, that was the newest before the 1.7 series.

If you're like me and use 1.7.5 the tracker will reject you. I'm too stubborn to downgrade, so I guess my account will get deleted for inactivity. Selection is decent, can't say about speeds (5-50 seeders on every file). They give you 1GB UL credit when you join.

Besides the fact that HelenaP has generously made (and we appreciate it) a sizeable contribution, it is largely just shit. Undiscernable, non-descript whoring shit.

How many times do I have to state that I am not interested in your shitty little trackers with <500 members and <500 torrents, in some jibberish I can't read?

In her absence, there has been discussion of making a new thread that is not total shit, which would require some information about the sites in order to post. This requires one to have membership to the sites, and not just read some fucking stat somewhere and shoot the starting line gun for people to rush to blindly sign up for shit.

So the intended goal is 2 fold, stop posting shit and stop signing up for shit. Remarkably simple isnt it?

I support Robincheema asking for more info, how the fuck are we supposed to know what HelenaP has access to or not. I didnt see paparazzi pics of her on a laptop in her hotel room on E! tonight. She posts repeatedly in the thread, it's safe to assume she has internet access and access to her other sources.

Now what we could do is start another thread with the requirements firmly stated, where a user would actually have some clue as to what they would expect ahead of time, and if someone posts shit in THAT thread, we bombrep the hell out of them. Remarkably simple isnt it?

Torrents are of British produced TV/Radio shows (no films) , with very few exceptions (couple of Aussie soaps that have been broadcast on Brit tv since the ark, few films that were spinoffs from tv shows) . There's plenty of it, but nowt else.
Rules are very strict, but clearly defined . The FAQ on ratio maintenance is helpfull (i'm new to private trackers, helped me no end) , regular free torrents are a big help .
There's currently 51k active members, 15.5k torrents .
A mod posted that they'd culled 1k memberships in 1 night & that this wasn't uncommon . On reflection, sounds about right, because there's a lot of people joining with no idea it's such a specialist site .

I also have another idea, although I'm not sure if it would be possible. Was wondering if maybe some additions/modifications could be made to the "BitTorrent Torrent Trackers" in the "Download Sites" area of this site. (http://www.zeropaid.com/links/bittorrent/)

If it were possible to maybe add some extra columns for the number of torrents, number of registered users (and limit), the language, and maybe some additional info on the content of the tracker. Then before posting a tracker in this thread, we could update or add a tracker to that section of this site and then post the tracker with a link of the information.

Again, not sure if it would even be possible, just a thought...

Hate to break it, but when Rushbits opened again, their stats page was inaccurate (and obviously still is, unless they managed to upload 4,200 files in a week and a half). They had less than 900 files at that time...

I would love to see this automated somehow, but that would require authentication. So not being automated tasks someone with the chore of keeping it updated all the time, as the stats can get stale fairly quickly. Since only admins here can modify form fields in vBulletin, this isnt very doable. (IMHO)
