Hey All,

I have noticed on the site, that whenever someone asks me for a trade, they never respond whether I say yes or no. I have yet to have one trade response with the exception of one user. Is it that I am just unlucky and getting trades to people who check their acconts never or is there a more appropriate way to get invites. I personally have been talking around for a blackcats-games invite for the past 5 days and everyone who pm's me and says they have one ends up never responding when I go "Sweet man, I really appreciate it...heres my email for the invite" Like I have had no problems getting into any movie/tv/hd/dvd release trackers/irc's but its like the game sites are the biggest pain to get into.

What is even worse is when people DONT know how to use the trader and reply with something like "Oh I meant I was looking for this tracker invite not that I had it for trade." Or "I meant to put this in a different section" Idk ...just annoying i suppose ;-)

All I want to do is browse a good game site for 360....and no xbox-sky sucks for 360 just to let you know.

Just ranting I suppose :icon_thum

(bored god's I know the rules, no trading on forums....this is a rant more so of how annoying it is to get trading to work!!!)

I believe you may not be getting a response because you have to have 20 posts and a rating of 10 in order to use the trade post. So, they may have accepted, but you can't see it until you reach that level. I don't know if that's your case or not.

I do know that I've also had a little "trouble" with the trading post. I think it's mainly that no one seems to accept or reject any of the trade offers I send. I think this is because I'm just getting stuck with the people who might log on once or twice and then decide never to come back, but I dunno.

Yea it is rather annoying. It shouldnt let users who havent made the 20posts 10points quota onto the trading post or at least not let them accept trades. I accepted one when I hadn't posted anything or got 10 points but havent been able to get at it yet.

Thats just going to cause people to post random things to get up to 20 posts...isn't it?

Well, it could but it wouldn't do you any good. You can get 20 or even 200 post, but no one will rep you if you don't say something using. Waisted points could actually knock your rep in the negatives which is what made me scared to post anything at first. :)

See this whole reputation point thing is new to me, on every other forum that I access normally, these are not used. Interesting way to keep the forum in line however.

a lot of people signup and look for a trade. When they've done it, they won't come back again but the invite are still there.

But today was the day of the big clean up , so you won't have any more problem ^^
