i ordered orange wireless broadband and it connects to the laptop via ethernet but not wirelessly, it recognises the network but wont connect further than authenticating/acquiring network address. I have an internal wireless card which i tried to connect with as well as with a dongle, neither get any further than acquiring the network address. I cant seem to connect to the wireless network at all. Any ideas? I'd be eternally grateful.

Did it comes with the software to connect to their wireless network? Did you call their tech. support, to setup acct. name & password so you can use their network? Try their tech. support!

I was on the phone to them for 2 hrs... and they dont know how to fix it. The pc connects wirelessly so i know its not down to the wireless or network.. it seems to be a setting or something, ive no idea. Orange support tried everything and have no idea why it wont work. I dont have a warranty on this laptop as its second hand so i cant even call up lenovo to ask :|

You said you can acquire network address, but may be connection is too weak for the connection to be stable??? Did you try wireless booster like using a better antenna? If nothing help, sorry! But, wired network connection is a better & reliable choice.

Hmm, try resetting the wireless router by unplugging it, and depending on the model, there may be a small 'reset' button that you should press and hold for about 30 seconds. Then plug the power back in, and try again.

If that doesn't work, use the wired connection to access the router config, and verify all of your wireless settings are correct.
