I was just wondering about this, did they close it for good?

I can understand the mods position on this, though, as it was probably a very hard thread to moderate.

Slyck did the same thing because it was taking up too much of the mods time.

The last post on the Bit Torrent invite trading thread was made on April 4, 2007 and today is April 12,2007....so it has not been that long.

I closed it for a few reasons.

I believe in the long run closing the thread will help the site...

if people want to trade invites, i have built them a system: http://www.zeropaid.com/bbs/bittorrent-invite-trading-post/

yup its gone

invite trading, begging and requesting is no longer tolerated on the boards

the trading post still exists though if u really want ure invites

also pming random members begging will get u a temp ban immediately

pming me begging or any of the other mods will probs just get u banned full stop

Thanks for the explination guys. Yeah, I can see where you are comming from and how hard it might have become to keep that particular thread going. But at least you gave other people who wanted to still trade invites a place to go without screwing up the boards.

I use mainly Newsgroups, but it kind of suprised me not to see the BT invite trading thread on the frontpage! Where it has been for a long time...LOL!

Yeah but what do you do now when you want to request an invite, but don't want to name all the accounts/invites that you could offer in return?

Especially since not a single offer is for that invite in the new system.

You can ADD a tracker site to the list that you may be interested in getting an invite from, other than that.... I guess you go someplace else if you are wanting to trade BT invites!

This is best for the site. It was getting to where a lot of posts were not even put in the bit torrent invite request forum, but some were being made as single posts...which if everyone that was trading did that , it would screw up the forums and a let's not forget all of the junk posts the mods had to put up with while it was up.

ZP is about filesharing stories and the filesharing community at large....it was never intended to be a place solely to trade bit torrent invites.

That would be nice of you Jorge. I think a lot of people still trade, but this would keep the forums from getting screwed up.
