Hey guys I'm new here but have been reading for the past few years.
I was just wondering if anyone new a good place to get books and magazines?
I use newsgroups for most of my downloading, however the only weakness it has it that I don't know what the popular downloads of the day will be unlike bittorent.
Looking forward to hearing from you guys.

Am I doing something wrong, or does gigapedia only review books? If so, then I don't see how it's relevant. Did I miss something?

Looks like Gigapedia has a LOT of ebooks but I hate rapidshare. Is there a tracker that mirrors the gigapedia stuff? Like, put all gigapedia ebooks from last month in one torrent?

hi burtz, did you reply to me? thanks in that case. ebooksshare.net seem to have some sort of scene released ebooks. great but not the same ebooks that gigapedia has, right? I was looking for some place that has exactly the same content as gigapedia, only easier do download (torrents, some other p2p, usenet, whatever!) I'll check out ebookvortex.com to see if they have that.

of you go! its hard enough to keep up with all the postings never mind them pack them as bittorent, i already have 2x 500GB drives full! at 26KB/s upload it will take how long to torrent?
great but not the same ebooks that gigapedia has, right?you are missing one point, there are alot of users on that site daily releasing books exclusively just to that site, they know that their posting spread to other sites alot quicker then, hence less work

Hiya yelims. With that upload speed then I understand the problem Its a shame though because folks with more bandwidth would seed once the stuff got onto torrents. Much gigapedia stuff never seem to reach other p2p communities at all because of the rapidshare hassle. A 1TB torrent wont work but a torrent with all the stuff from the last month (or last week) could work. Or how about using usenet instead? That only takes one single upload and then others can download at full speed without the hassle of rapidshare.

true :( eitherway alot of the links there are for mihd.net which has none of the hassle (like waiting + being treated like shite) of rapdiSHITE! and average 100KB/s speeds for me
the senior members also provide multiple mirrors on request

I tried the links you have listed, but most of them require registering, and say the registering is close, and an invite might work.
