FTN and SCT are 2 of the best but they are considered that not for for great the site is and the community they have, it they are exclusive trackers and its very hard to get invites for them.

Well, a year ago or so, there was a huge topic where everyone were tarding invites, and obviously the contact info was given via PMs.
The reason I have so little posts is because the thread was deleted.

Revtt is a decent site. I don't use them much myself but I wouldn't call it a total N00b site either. Yes they are fairly easy to get in to but they have good staff and good speeds for the most part and they are easy to seed back to and maintain a good ratio. They are slow to get the new content but that doesn't matter so much to many ppl.

RevTT is great. I mean when you have everything else (excluding, FXP, newsgroups and IRC) you will come to appreciate it. It has fantastic content, great pretimes and good speeds even on older stuff.

For many, it comes down to design. That was my deciding factor, as I did not want to keep up on soo many sites with the same content. I went with TL at the time, haven't really looked back.

Let me tell you something about your "so-called" great tracker RevolutionTT.

Last night, I was happily seeding away while I was asleep. When I woke up to check my stats, I found that I was "forbidden" from the RevTT website. As I go to the IRC channel asking whats wrong I was bombarded with users accusing me as a cheater when there was no proof available. I then decided to go to the support channel to inquire further. As I did they said I was speedcheating (supposedly I was uploading at 2.2mb/s which is quite possible through seedboxes and 100mbit plans but I only have a measly home plan). Before I was able to defend myself or ask how they know this, they ban me from the support channel and the main channel. I then ask a friend to see if he could find out anymore information about my ban and they KICK him for asking. As you can see some of RevTT's admins do not know how to do their job and love going on power trips. Also, the userbase isn't that great either (as you would have seen above).

As I finish this post off, I am most certain that some of you will fight back saying "It was your fault, you were cheating" Well, I wasn't and if there was a way to prove it I would most gladly like to find out.

Not that I give a shit as RevTT never seemed desirable to me and I never became a member there, but you might instead of ranting about how they accused you of cheating when you didn't, try saying what your real connection is, what client and version you were using and maybe even where you got it if you remember that.

Maybe the client version you are using has a bug that needs fixing?. Maybe the site where you got it from wasn't the official site and it's a modded client, Which would mean you cheated without knowing. There are lots of scenarios possible, but from your post we have no way of knowing.

As for staff not listening, that depends on the site, but maybe after getting people every day probably saying that the cheat detection system is wrong, they get tired of it. You have the developers of various cheat clients and modded clients to thank for that, together with the people promoting and using them. And as hard as it may be for you to believe, at least 90%, probably more, of the people getting banned for cheating are cheating, so which are the last under 10%. It can be a bit hard to figure out and someone that is active on their site, forum and IRC, which you probably weren't, will get the benefit of the doubt more than someone else.

Ultimately this will probably amount to zero and not resolve your issue, but if the admins and forums really are dicks, I want to smoke them out and make it known.

Ok, I'm using uTorrent 1.7.6 (a stable version) and have currently uploaded 2.55 GB while downloaded 411 MB (recent format) only around 2 gigabytes of that has actually been uploaded to RevTT. I am not a new user, I was a power user for the past year or so. My upload connection is 1mbit.

The argument about them being tired of hearing the same thing over and over again does not amount to an AUTOMATIC ban, especially without a chance to say something or defend my self.

If you had had the client that they say reported the bad stats for a long time then maybe that would help, but since you don't then they will just claim that those screens are from a different client.

If I was reporting the bad stats they would have banned me earlier. Therefore, this is clearly a one-off situation which is probably (and is) a mistake on RevTT's behalf

There's a difference between seeing a "burst" of 2.2mbs and sustained 2.2mbs. Actually the burst isnt really a burst, it's the client or windows way of playing catch up while it's still trying to do the math.

If you uploaded from the same IP addy as before and can prove youre not running a hack, they shouldnt have a beef, but as you stated, youre not going to get the chance to prove anything.

Oh well, there's plenty of BT to chose from, and most of it all has the same content.

for a list of sites being hardest to get into one - 10 from either rarity or quality here is the link this should answer all questions! I stand by this list some lower level sites are still the best because they are easy to get into but overall alot of trackers have far more to offer then revtt does!

I was recently banned from revott after 2 years of membership. I had 1.7tb of ul and around 970gb of dl without buying any ul credit. I left for 4 hours and came back to 403 error so I started to look online if anyone can give me any explanation. Unfortunately I am not too familiar with mIRC so I have no idea how to ask the mods why I was banned. After reading this thread, it seems like there is no point to it. I didn't cheat of course I don't know how to prove that but thats life. Although before I was banned, I downloaded Revott's updated ipfilter and allowed wget.exe through the firewall according to the directions. Anyway, if anyone can help me get a hold of a revott mod through mIRC it would be very much appreciated. THanks

I posted so that I could find people who have had the same experience and see what they have done about it, not about getting unbanned, but what other sites they have moved onto. I was able to contact the mod and they kicked me out of the irc channel because I didn't know why I was speed cheating. The truth is I don't even know how to do that. Is it possible my ISP made a mistake? In any case, I appreciate your quick response.
