Off the top of my head here are a few ideas to make things better, and cut out some of the bitching thats been going on lately. These are my ideas an opinions, so obviously they are biased. If you have a better idea, post it.

1- Separate the bittorrent trading section from the rest of the forum

I've never given a shit about the invite trading thread, but I know alot of people don't like it and does seem to be a bit of a moron magnet.
However, I realise invite trading brings alot of traffic to the site, and Jorge needs clicks to pay bills.
So why not settle for a compromise? Take it out of the forums and put it somewhere else on the site or even have a totally different website for it.

2 - get some new moderators

Frankly, I'm getting tired of moderators popping in once in a blue moon to badmouth zeropaid, or going to other forums to talk trash about ZP. I'm not talking about ALL the moderators here, some of them seem to just have dissapeared more than anything.
The only ones who seem to be making a contribution in the forums anymore are soul, LOTD and occasionally rainbowdemon.

3 - have a section for posting .nzb files

They do it in other forums, do it here too. It would bring alot of traffic to the site.

4 - have a "trash" forum for binning spam, flames and nonsense

Another thing alot of forums have and zeropaid should have too. It's irritating to post in a thread which ends up deleted. Instead of deleting threads and the posts of everyone who posted in the thread, just move it to the spam section.

5 - Get rid of the trolls

I've seen alot of trolling going on lately. There must be something that can be done to get rid of these idiots, like blocking their ip range.

6 - bring back cheapprick

self explanatory.

Grab grab, very nice post :) And I do like most of the ideas. I haven't left though. I am still doing my job just very quietly. I have banned about three spammers this month. The other mods are still here. We're all lurking though. It's kind of sad actually. I'll try to get my butt in gear here :)

You're right I do feel dirty agreeing with him but, I do agree. For the record, the person whom u speak of, Sonusahu so we're clear, was deMODed for deleting the invite thread which he did I presume out of an attempt to allay your concerns.

As of right now, the only MODs that exist with MOD POWERS are the ones that have already been so for a long, long time.

Wow man, you still had the same avatar from four years ago........ since that time, ZP has just evolved to a better place. Jorge must be proud of this place........ so many good faces The Hunter, how you doing sir?

If you havent noticed, Grab is a changed man. He seems truely concerned for ZP and has been trying to sort things out with good posts like this thread. I have a feeling he has been getting laid lately.:icon_salu

I would like to see a flame chamber but I know thats not going to happen. It sure would be fun to say the least. We could have flame contests and maybe win ZP shirts if anyone wants one.

a separate forum for news and stuff not related to p2p, but politics, sports and stuff. not going to happen i think, but worth mentioning as p2p is dying.

Im not sure that P2P is dying but there is not much to talk about. There is not any devolpment of new programs or new P2P technology and most people already know how to use what they like. Furthermore, probably 80 percent of filesharing is handled in one manner only, torrents. I myself still think the user base is growing. Talking P2P is all but dead. The only thing left is to debate the legal aspects.

p2p will die. riaa, mpaa, bsa, etc=governing bodies paying $$ to american govt in tax=american govt, which is renowned to get what it wants sooner or later. anyway we are converging on the same point.

It will only die in the public eye and thats a big maybe. P2P will always be around, perhaps underground again, as long as there is an internet. I think they will give up one day and start providing the very service for the "illegal" downloads. Instead of Charter as your ISP you'll be paying Sony Pictures or some other entity where all the media providers come together under one banner.

The only way to stop it is to throw 10 million people in prison and thats not going to happen.

VERY good suggestions grab. i think if all of those come about, ZP can pull itself together again. and there is no reason to not act on at least a few of those. its no skin off anyone's nose.

I find it strange and perplexing how you always seem to be clinging onto Grabs coattail. By all means run with it you simply must but it was meant to be praise of his fine suggestions. Just a small joke but nothing to start a thread about IMHO. http://www.zeropaid.com/bbs/polls/t-is-grab-grab-getting-laid-42367.html#post484110 Perhaps grab will throw you some leftovers so you too can gain a sunny disposition and possibly add beneficial subject matter instead of troll bait.

Actually I think those two could easily function as an either/or suggestion.

I think Grabs idea are great. I like the part about having a seperate section for invite trading.

It would also be great if they had an NZB section.

And his other suggestions are equally as good.I think the Mods should take a good look at his ideas and try to impliment at least some of them.
