I use EasyRecovery Pro or Recover My Files, but to recover your files you need to stop using computer right away so the lost files doesn't get overwritten. Good Luck!

Hi,
That is true, but f you wish to use a powerful tool I suppose Active@ Undelete. It even can boot itself and recover from a boot-disk.

I found Recover My Files alright. It isn't an intensive program but it does go deep enough for the recently deleted.

You can try FreeUndelete 2.0.0635 http://recovery-review.com/undelete-tools/freeundelete-2-0-0635.html
It's a fairly simple and handy tool, and also - it's freeware!
If you want a more advanced tool, than you can look at http://recovery-review.com for something that meets your needs. There are plenty of recovery software reviews on that site.
For example, you can try DiskInternals Uneraser 2.9 http://recovery-review.com/undelete-tools/diskinternals-uneraser-2-9.html

Easy Recovery Pro definately but don't create or install anything on the hard drive because it may overwrite the deleted file on the HD. Just install the program and do the search for deleted files.

Hi,
You can also go to http://www.FilesLost.com. This site restores deleted files for free, no need to install anything.
Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Undeletion) lists some free tools as well.
Best regards.

I allways go to Filehippo.com for my software needs. And I find Recuva from the guys behind CCleaner.
