I resently lost my utility disk that came with my motherboard: Winfast 760GXK8MC
and then re-installed windows now i can`t got sound because there is no driver!

i searched about on google and it came back inconculsive. :(
Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this problem?

i will provide any more info thats needed!!

Not sure if you resolved this issue or not, but here's the driver you need: http://dlsvr01.asus.com/pub/ASUS/misc/audio/ad1980/ad1980_1888_51225280_64bit.zip

It's from ASUS, but their boards have the same SiS chipset, with the same onboard sound chip.

Since it's a 64 bit mobo, I'm assuming you're running a 64 bit OS, so that's the driver I've provided.

If for some odd reason (it's been known to happen with this chipset) the setup.exe doesn't work for you, just install the drivers via Device Manager.

Again, I am only helping because your a decent poster.

Use Everest, see what the exact chipset, then get the correct driver.

Eventually i found the Download part of Foxconn my motherboard maker!!
