You've probably already tried this but disabling all your firewalls temporarily see if that's the problem.

It makes no difference what I'm using. Limewire, emule, bitlord, shareaza, any of them. I get MAYBE 2 K/b down. What's up with that shit? I have forwarded ports, even set myself as the DMZ host, but to no avail. I've tried changing ports in the applications, and still nothing. Has anyone else been having this problem? I'm using Cox as a provider, but they recently changed to Sudden Link Communications. Are they known for throttling p2p traffic?

Any insight would be appriciated.

To check for throttle try an encrypted p2p client like BT azureus (with encryption on) or ANts p2p
