I'm currently with an ISP which is throttling p2p applications, it is DSL and i'm trying to find a way to avoid the traffic shaping. I've enable DHT to encrypt data but this doesn't seem to work to well, is there any other way to avoid the throttling? It is ADSL in New Zealand.

Thanks

This (http://www.bootstrike.com/Articles/BitTorrentGuide/index.html) was the best I could find. The encryption you've tried is the most clear but they suggest a few other ideas.

Just force the encryption for utorrent
Prefs > bittorrent > protocol encryption = forced

Perhaps you called the wrong person stupid. Some people take personal comments so badly.

Who was this person that gave you negative rep?

That would be me sir (along with several others.)

I don't recall him calling anyone stupid, but he did act like an asshole across a number of posts.

Please spare me your divine wrath.

I suppose I will.

I had asked to see if I had been one. My memory isn't what it used to be.
