IAdea Corporation, the Taiwan-based licensee of BitTorrent technology, and Star Semiconductor Corporation, an affiliate of the semiconductor giant UMC Group, jointly announce the availability of the world’s first BitTorrent-optimized microprocessor chip.
<p>In a sign of things to come, the BitTorent protocol has been incorporated in another fashion so as to allow consumer electronics hardware manufacturers to create devices that directly download and play BitTorrent content</p>
<p>This will no doubt me music to the ears of Netgear Inc. and the like who are working to bring content to us
