Hi
I use windows XP PRO SP2 and i have a flash pen which works very well upon fixing it in any USB port (windows recognizes it and i can copy to/from it without anyproblem)
However, when restarting windows (and the flash pen is still fixed in the same port) OR when bringing the PC out of hibernation or Standby, the "two arrows" icon which is supposed 2 be shown in the tray is missing and i can't find the letter driver of my flash pen AND THE ONLY SOLUTION TO THIS IS DETACHING THE FLASH PEN FROM THE USB AND THEN FIXING IT AGAIN.

Can anybody tell me why this happen and how can i overcome this behaviour so that windows will always allow me 2 use the flash pen as long as it's fixed in 1 of the USB ports ? (P.S. My Dad's PC does not show this behaviour so i think that the culprit 2 this situation is one or more of the hundreds of TWEAKS i have done b4 in XP) THX

isn't there a patch that solves usb issues like this? Check windows update and look at the critical updates/recommended updates and see if one is there. It may solve this issue.
