New BRAVIA Internet Video Link device will allow new Sony "Internet video-ready" TVs to access free video content on the internet with the push of a button.

The ongoing Consumer Electronics Show(CES) in Vegas continues to produce exciting new announcements from electronics corporations the world over.

In addition to the recent news that Netgear will partner with BitTorent Inc (http://www.zeropaid.com/bbs/../news/8209/Netgear+partners+with+BitTorrent+Inc.). to stream content from PCs to consumers HDTVs, Sony Electronics has announced a feature for new TV models that will allow users to access free internet video content with the push of a button on the remote control.

Called BRAVIA Internet Video Link, it will allow most of its new televisions to stream internet video content, including HD, from sources to include AOL, Yahoo!, Grouper, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and also Sony's BMG Music.

“This initiative will not only enhance the entertainment experience for owners of Sony Internet video-ready HDTVs, but also reinforce our defining strategy of providing more personalization of products and content for consumers that no other company can offer,” according to Stan Glasgow, president and chief operating officer of Sony Electronics.
