I have some bitterness left over from finding out that Morpheus is crap P2P software that I trusted. Currently I use Gnucleus. What I don't like is that my Gnucleus will just let any Morpheus user download from me. Now, I don't mind so much the versions of Morpheus that are Gnucleus with Ads(Pre 2.0 versions), but what gets under my skin are the 2.0 and above versions of Morpheus. Because it's just another crappy idea from Streamcast I don't want to aid it in any way. I am not a programmer. So I was wondering if there is any way to write an add on program that would deny uploads to Morpheus 2.0 based on the user agent that the program gives. My goal would be to never allow Morpheus 2.0 users to download things off of me in the hopes that they get frustrated and seek some better P2P program. Is this a possibility or am I just dreaming?

You wouldn't hurt Streamcast in the least, all you'd do is stop a few file transfers from some poor saps who could care a less about Streamcast or any grudge against them, all they want to do is download some file. File sharing is about sharing, and that means with leechers, and with people who use some program you don't like. You've made your choice to not use the software; don't try to make other people's choices for them, or maybe they'll be the ones writing the software to block your p2p app of choice.
