I do not follow anyone around the board looking to give them negative rep but when I see a person flame someone I give them negative rep. Simple really.

Also I will point out I do not try to get back at someone when they leave bad rep which is what he did and has done before. I think Ive bad repped him twice and both times were for flaming and not because I was mad. If I start a fight with someone I would take neg rep in stride but I try not to name call and belittle people.

If he came back with a possitive attitude I would leave him a pos rep.

I mean if there were some tangible benefit from having a high rep, that might be different, but there isn't.

Anyone who gives a crap about their rep is a bit pathetic IMHO. So when someone says "if you see someone acting mean, blast that lameass with neg rep", frankly it makes me chortle into my perrier.

Unfortunately there seem to be a vocal and mentally challenged minority who care about such things as having a large number of points on a bbs. It almost becomes a duty to leave them neg rep just to irritate them.

I've tried really hard to get my reputation down into the red, I've even came right out and asked in the forums for everyone to neg rep me, but unfortunately I'm just such an all round good guy that almost every post i make collects a bunch of positives. Hey, i can't help it if I'm popular.

What does my being teen have to do with anything? I think some teens have more knowledge than adults these days. Just because I'm in high school that doesn't mean I don't know anything about politics and the world controversies around me. So if I am aware of these issues, why can't I express my opinion and you can disagree about it without complaining that I'm just a teenager therefore everything I say is wrong?

I'm not saying I'm Albert Einstein, but I am an educated American teenager (which our country probably needs more of anyway) and I don't think arguing with a teenager on the internet or anywhere else for that matter is a pathetic thing to do.

Where is all of the homophobia coming from?

My one prof is covering the area of psychiatry as it pertains to the law. He mentions that the DSM-IV, the main craziness classification manual used in N.A. at least, is as much a political document as a scientific one. When entries are added or removed it has as much to do with the politics within the guiding committee as the science.

Here's the kicker. Homosexuality was removed on purely political grounds, not scientific. Now I want to ask more questions about this, but it suggests to me that from a purely scientific viewpoint homosexuality should still be a mental disorder. Interesting.

As much as i don't agree with all the sentiment going on here, it does give a bit of life to the forum. It was boring for a while! I think we should all pick a nemesis and begin the tirade....(unzips pants and prepares for penis duel)

Congrats everyone. Out of almost 90 posts, only 20 dealt with the thread topic.

Special thanks go to the following:
