I've recently purchased the new iPod nano and it's just so much easier to use than other players. I used to have the iRiver U10 but the menu system was laggy, unresponsive and it took a while to boot up.

I also have an iPod Video. I love it. It's easy to use, does everything I want it to do, and the battery life's pretty decent.

I have an iPod video, too. I am very happy with it. Yes, I have to convert my avi videos to put it on, but there are programs for that.

I bought the misses a Creative Zen Vision as a present for xmas. The thing that sold me was that it can play divx files and the screen resolution was much better than an ipod. So, I can transfer most of the divx files I get on the net on there and she's been happy with it. You can also hook it up to the tv and the resolution is great, as long as the divx has been encoded to 640 x 480.
