We all know it seems to be all the rage these days. I thought it would be good to start a thread where we index as many as possible. Here is a good list to get started with:

I just watched Clerks2. Its awesome and free. The price of the net is finally justified with real content!

I have a tiny whine against these TV linking sites. They never link you to any of the great British stuff like Doctor Who, Torchwood, Robin Hood, or even the old classics like Red Dwarf.
So here's what I'm wondering. If it's OK to link to the linking sites, is it OK to just cut out the middle-man, and do something like Torchwood (http://www.dailymotion.com/visited/search/torchwood/1)

I would think there should be no problem with it. Its not hosted here on ZP so there is no way ZP could get in trouble for anyone posting a link to a website. Besides, soulxtc does it all the time including on the front page in the news section to like 50 tv shows. Ive seen other peoples threads get closed down because of mentioning a TV show hosted on another site but thats bullshit. If the Supermod can do it so should anyone else also be able to do so. Its not a download link or warez so the mods shouldn't get in a twist over it. Rant over and out.
Why not start your own blog to list these great BBC shows? There are some I would like to see as well

Why not start your own blog to list these great BBC shows? There are some I would like to see as well
I can't find them.
There's -
a few Doctor Who's at Google video (http://video.google.co.uk/videosearch?q=doctor+who),
some
Red Dwarf eps at YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=related&search_query=Red%20dwarf%20season%20lister%20rimme r%20cat%20kryten%20holly%20BBC%20Comedy%20British% 20humor),
and
the Torchwood section (http://www.dailymotion.com/visited/search/torchwood/1)at Daily Motion.com, but after that, I don't know where they're all hiding.
Oh, but here's something. AOL has a site for old American TV.
http://television.aol.com/in2tv
The networks have jumped on the bandwagon also. CBS has InnerTube. Showtime and SciFi have stuff if you're American. The BBC was letting you download stuff at one time if you were British. ABC streams shows after broadcast too I think. If a person wanted to he could link to those I guess.

Wasnt the BBC going to offer all their old shows online at one point? what ever happened to that? I would like to watch the Young Ones right now.
EDIT: sorry. I just read your full post there.

Here's Fox's download site at MySpace.
http://www.myspace.com/fox
You have to install their media player, but they offer replays of
Prison Break,
Bones,
OC,
Standoff,
The Loop,
American Dad
Vanished
The main problem I have with the network streaming sites is their media players are generally crap. The one at CBS's InnerTube is just horrible. I think it's based on Real. I may not have the right codecs of course, but I'll be damned if I'm going to let any more Real Player crap onto my system just to watch How I Met Your Mother.

Yeah, its wierd, Ive found whole movies, in one part, at myspace to watch. I watched Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrals earlier there and the begining of Fight Club.
The quality of some shows are not the best but its free and simple so I can't complain too much. This is just great. I no longer ever have to worry about getting a letter from my ISP or wait even 2 minutes for a download anymore! We do need to do something about the more rare shows like BBC and the like. I'm sure as this trend grows, lots more will show up.
Some of these site have contact info for requests.

In fact speaking of obscure stuff on MySpace...you don't hate Canadian Comedy do you? Here's the MySpace search page for one that's no Trailer Park Boys, but it does get kind of addictive after you watch a few. It's called Corner Gas (http://vidsearch.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.fullsearch&TotalRecords=22). It's kind of a slow, Canadian, Seinfeldish (it's about nothing) series built around the characters in a 1 gasbar town in Saskatchewan.
The Thing is even if a person isn't interested in that particular series, he can use the search function on that page to find something else.

I don't hate Canadian TV shows I just don't know anything about them. It took a lot of people from ZP talking about TPBs before I would give it a chance. I'll look this one up too. I wonder why the U.S. doesn't give any Canadian shows any play. The TPB's movie didnt even play here.

<p>Following in the footsteps of a <a href="http://www.zeropaid.com/news/7661/Watch+The+Simpsons,+The+Office,+Jackass,+South+Par k,+Lost,+X-Men,+and+More+On-Demand+For+Free">previous article</a> that discussed a site called <a href="http://www.tv-links.co.uk/">"TV Links"</a> which allows you to watch dozens and dozens of TV shows on-demand for free, there's another site which allows you to do the same with movies as well. </p>
<p>Like TV Links, <a href="http://onlinemovie.tripod.com/id8.html">the site</a> doesn't host the video files it lists for you but, instead provides links to sites like YouTube, MetaCafe, and others where they are actually hosted.</p>
<p>Now you can watch movies wherever or whenever you want from the comfort of your office cubicle or home PC. You can even watch wi-fi style with a wireless laptop in a campus courtyard or at a Starbucks over morning coffee without the need for any <a href="http://www.zeropaid.com/programs/?scatid=58">file-sharing software</a>. Simply click and play, it's that easy.</p>
<p>The site offers a large and wide variety of movies YouTube style without the need for <a href="http://www.zeropaid.com/bittorrent/">BitTorrent</a> or any other <a href="http://www.zeropaid.com/programs/?scatid=58">file-sharing software</a>. It's definitely a great way to watch a flic on the go. </p>
<p>The movies are listed by both popularity as well as category. </p>

Here's another good documentary. The Power of Nighmares (http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-1002626006461047517&q=%22power+of+nightmares%22+pt)
I got the link from a poster here at Zeropaid when they were discussing Middle Eastern Terrorism. It presents an interesting theory on the causes of the current West vs. Muslim conflicts as rooted in the teachings this obscure Muslim guy, and the obscure teachings of this Neo-Conservative guy. Trust me, it makes more sense when you see it, than the way I just described it. It's from the BBC.

is the obscure Muslim guy Muhammad ibn Abd al Wahhab"? Its his followers that the House of Saud made a peace deal with in Saudia Arabia giving this puritanical version of Islam the widespread influence it has today.

I don't think so. This was a muslim professor guy educated in the west who got disillusioned with western priorities.
It's this guy.

You know what else I wish people would put up. There's stuff that has a cult following yet the networks won't let the general public have access to it. Stuff like The Inside. There's 13 eps, and Fox won't put out a DVD, even though it has, as I said, strong cult interest.
Then there's the Global Freguency pilot. The WB was whining when it hit the filesharing networks, because so many people were downloading it, yet they wouldn't put it out anywhere the average Joe could see it. I think maybe they didn't want to be shown up as the obvious morons they were, because they didn't buy the series, and apparently the pilot was good.

I like this trend too. I don't have to worry about taking time to download shows i want to watch one time. Nor do I have to worry about the man sending me a nasty letter. Its all free to watch as it should be. Well it does cost me the high price of my internet connection but I should have something worthy to watch and not just a bunch of people lighting their own farts on youtube. Don't get me wrong, the first 100 times I saw a guy light his own farts I gladly sent off my bill payment but after awhile I needed more. Thats when I started watching those scat movies I had heard so much about. If you don't know what that is you must download some right now! Worth every penny, I promise! But even that gets old after a bit. Been there done that ya know. Getting to watch all these new TV shows brings so much happiness to my world. Just when I thought I would set myself on fire and jump into a woodchipper I am saved! No more thoughts of chewing on the barrel of a shotgun at 3 in the morning! Life is good!
Lordy, its past me bedtime!

Seems the powers are coming down hard on these sites as they are falling one by one. But more and more are still pooping up. I don't think linking to another site is illegal and if it is sites like zeropaid, slyck, and even google could be shut down.
Story here http://techdirt.com/articles/20061201/004047.shtml
Is Linking Or Embedding Infringing Content Illegal?
from the the-next-legal-minefield dept
There was an article in Forbes the other day about the recent growth in video hosting site DailyMotion.com. There are hundreds of video hosting sites these days, but apparently DailyMotion has caught on due to the fact that, unlike YouTube, they don't seem all that eager to take down infringing content. This may put the company in hot water at some point, but so far it's getting them a lot of traffic that used to go to YouTube. That, by itself, isn't all that interesting. Later on in the article, though, it discusses how a variety of sites are springing up building "portals" around certain TV shows. Since all of these video hosting sites let you embed videos onto other sites, it's quite easy to embed these videos onto any other site even though you're not hosting them. In fact, some of these sites are making a fair amount of money by putting ads on their sites.

I pay for tv programming but don't watch it anymore because of these tv streaming sites.I keep the tv programming for my wife but I like watching the programs I want to watch when I want to watch them.t I hate commercials and I hate paying for programming that has commercials in it.
I could understand the need for commercials back in the day when we didn't pay for tv,but now it's just plain ridiculous.
If it was up to me I would cancel my tv channels,I'm tired of paying assholes to advertise to me.I wish they had adblock for cable.

What gets me is that the FCC (?) de-regulated TV ad so now they can be hours long, not minutes. So now at least half the cable stations I pay for start showing ads all night long after midnight. I should not have to pay for this half of my cable service. They should give me some kind of break on my bill since I only get half of what I pay for. I only get to watch TV in the wee hours of the morning so actually I pay for shite. Sooner or later this has to stop.
Now with these TV link sites I can once again watch shows but now they are trying to kill that off. It sucks. Me and a friend were talking the other night of times before cable and how cool it actually was, believe it or not. Once the late news went off the free networks showed all night movies till 6 am when the news came back on again. You could watch all sorts of strange movies and creature features, westerns, Charlie Chan and just shit you never see anymore, anywhere. Cable TV sucks a fat dirty butt.

They must have heard us talking. I see TVLinks has Torchwood, Red Dwarf, and both Seasons of the New Doctor who up now. They even have some classic Doctor Who.
If they're taking requests, I'd like to see some of those series Fox cancelled that should never have been cancelled - Wonderfalls, Tru Calling, The Inside.
