This is not not fileshare related question, but I don't belong to any network, or computer forums so I thought I'd post this here. I just picked up a belkin 4 port wireless router for cheap, but it came without an install cd. The router appears to be working, it transfers data, and I can surf the web through an eithernet cable and wirelessly. My problem is I cannot get to the config page by going to 192.168.2.1 which is normaly the standard for belkin routers. Nor can I ping that address. Is it possible that someone who had the router before changed the address? I also noticed that I am still getting an ip address from my DSL router a 100.48 address. If my belkin dhcp was working right i should be getting an address from it i.e. a 2.xx address. Belkin support has been no help, so if anyone has any ideas i would appreciate it.

Find a reset button on it, and hold it on for a minute. Research that model and find out what the IP address really should be. Also find out what the default pwd is.
