tech-report (http://www.tech-report.com/onearticle.x/4315) has a little article about the nvidia nv30 that will be released next year (or late 4th quarter for a lucky few perhaps) as well as a link to a power point presentation on it. its likely all still hype and speculation but nvidia claims it will have twice the "performance" (my qoutation marks) of a Geforce4. but geforce4 what? ah... tricky tricky! if it ends up that its twice the performance of an mx I will get an ati on general principle.

well.. I heard mafia was supposed to be an original concept of a well worn idea at least, but somehow I doubt it. games are like movies, if you watch/play enough of them then they all start to look the same.
but I still want a real nice video card, I think its just a matter of time before you get gaming performance ala geforce and rendering performance like the quadro all in one. maybe the end of '03, who knows.

It'd be nice to get some more "interaction" into FPS.
And I like games and movies tat have the last man alive theme. It appeals to the voyeur in me.
I liked "Castaway" too, I'm also like the loneliness factor.
Hence HalfLife and System shock are top of my list.
I like solitude.

Popular games just don't give me the stimulation anymore. A book is so much more exciting to me, now.
I was a right ol' junkie once though.
