eDonkey Pro for mac

Hello, I had recently some troubles with my ISP, which was filtering all P2P to 0.0 UL & DL... and so, had to resign, and I told him why!... So, I believed the troubles I had with the Donkey came from that... of course, some of it came from that, like been able only to have 9 or 10 connections instead of the usual 100 or 150... and also very often the impossibility to connect to Donkey servers (not to overnet though!)... but, one thing happened during the last week of that sad situation (more than 2 months alltogether!): clicking on the donkey icon made it bounce in the dock for a minute or so, but then it stopped and no window opened... and it stayed like that... I tried again and again, with same result... finally, I had to put that version to the trash (it had worked perfectly before though!) and to install an older version (Pro 1.3) instead of the Pro 1.4 pro I had (I'm on mac tiger)... Of course, since I've change my ISP, everything works as a charm now, loading up and down as high as it never did since very long time... but, trying to install the later version brings now the same results: it doesn't work (I kept a copy of it). I tried to remove all files: prefs etc, before installing but nothing! I also tried to download it again with eDonkey client (since the site doesn't exist anymore, but it was an exe, so I can do nothing with...
any Idea about what to do ?
Of course, 1) I'm not even sure a new DL will work, 2) Everything works perfectly well with that version, I would even say that I'm not pested with the 3 pub files which came every time in the eDonkey folder each time I would start it... but it's more for the principle and since the servers some time make a remark 'bout it... :icon_scra
