Aaaaaaaaaah!!!!!

Help! Anyone! I have two questions that hours of trial and error have yet to solve. Background: I'm a 'learn as I go' user and have mananged to download a movie here and there from Kazaa Lite. But the following two problems are making me pull my hair out!:

1. Even though I've managed to download and play two movies, I spend days downloading some (like Lord of the Rings) and when I play them, I only get the audio! The video is some kind of skin visualization! The error message says I need a decompressor. Where do I find this decompressor and what kind do I need?

2. I completed downloads on several PC games, Jedi Outcast 2, as and example. But it will not begin to setup. There's no setup or .exe file with it. It just wants to self extract right back to the same shared file folder it's already in. Am I missing something, or is it just a crap download?

hmmm.... tonsils are inflamed, we're going to need to do an immediate tonsilectomy, dont worry, it is not a difficult procedure. But given the other extenuating factors I am going to recommend an immediate vasectomy as well... it would be endlessly less painful that way.

give us more details

1. wut media players do u have installed
2. wut codecs do u have installed
3. wut windows do u use
4. wut do u want to play/open (.avi, .exe, etc.)

it does matter wut players he uses cuz some players come wit codecs that nimo doesnt have (eg. QuickTime)

And it has been almost 20 minutes.

quicktime was just an example. there lots of codecs that nimo doesnt have.

second thing y the hell are we fighting about this.
