Okay I have some old emule temp files that are sparse that I only downloaded a bit of them. Lets say I had a 700MB file, I only downloaded maybe 300MB of it. Now since it's an MPEG I can use any standard player (PC) to play the partial file but as with any partly downloaded MPEG, once I reach a part of the file that has empty space, the frame freezes and the timer keeps going until I reach a part with data again. There are quite a number of these gaps. I want to remove them and make the rest a continuous video. How would I go about doing that? I've tried MPEG-Corrector and TMPGEnc but all they do is rewrite the file header (I think) and sitll keep the empty gaps. There is a program that does what I want, called DivFix, that has an option to "cut out bad parts", but I can't find an MPEG equivalent. Please help. Thank you.

Let me understand, you are not talking about mpeg file that's still in preview, correct? If you are, I don't think you can anything about the gaps until it's fully downloaded. Once it's downloaded, then you can use TMPGEnc MPEG Editor to remove the gaps & re-encode the mpeg file. Hope this has answered your question!

Another reason to dump emule. You need to get a filesharing app where you can get the WHOLE video, and then add/delete or split what you really dont want off of it.
