What do you mean by stalling? That it is sluggish? Things move in slo-mo? Any upgrades lately in memory? How's the thing breathing? Is somthing else running in the background whenever you boot up? We need more info and some specs, please.

Basically what we need to know, is it a pre-configured system or did you customized the system? If you customized your system, what's your CPU, Video Card, How Much RAMs, How Long You Been Using It? When Did The Problem Start? Did You Try Defragment Your Hard Drive First? Or, what you've tried already? etc.!

I could only think of spyware infesting on your machine, need to defrag hard drive just in case. .And check system resources for other things that may not appear in task bar.

I want to thank everybody for their help, but i think i figured out the problem, when i disable avast everything goes back to normal, so when i play games or watch a vid , i just turn it off now, and once again thank's a whole lot.

I use NOD32, maybe you should switch if Avast is a system resource hog!

I would recommend a switch.
