The domain “ShareReactor.com” is registered privately with LeaseWeb, a Dutch web hosting company based in the Netherlands. Curiously, the forums’ IP address (64.27.6.7) is registered with an American based company named Hollywood Interactive, Inc (http://toolbar.netcraft.com/site_report?url=http://forum.sharereactor.com). Considering many eDoneky2000 links were traded in the ShareReactor forums, some have expressed suspicion. However, Hollywood Interactive, Inc. appears to be nothing more than a web hosting company based in Los Angles, California.

sounds like a honeypot to me. The shutting down of the edonkey2000 clien'ts homepage and the re-emergence of this was nearly simultaneous.

Yeah, it does sound fishy. Kinda like the 50 million Razorback 2 servers which sprung up after the official one went under. I'm sure they're all logging away under the guise of helpful services.

I've seen a lot of sites that have absolutely nothing to do with filesharing registered with Hollywood Interactive so I wouldn't be suspicious just because of that and I think Sharereactor starting up again and edonkey going down at almost the same time is purely a coincidence.
