Help with dowloaded PS2 game

Downloaded Azureus from Zeropaid Site. Downloaded PS2 game with Azureus. Copied game to DVD when download was complete. What do I have to do to play the game on PS2?: How about playing it on the PC. I have a PS2 emulator but don't know what to do. icon_salu

Playing it on a pc is not a possibility I think. The emu plays very few games and I'm not sure which ones those are.
It should work on your ps2 though it if has a modchip.

honestly, swap magic is the way to go. the only games it wont do are the ones that are on dual layer DVDs. and there arnet many. i think GTA:SA and god of war are the only two that are good games on huge disks. i have had a probelm booting CD based games though. (lego star wars, ICO) but i found a prog that will convert the boot sector to DVD size so i can play them on a DVD.

i had that problem as i was burning them with nero (cds)

tried it with alcohol and it worked a treat :)

alcohol did it? i thought there were files that had to be completely re-written.

my lego starwars was an mds and mdf format, wouldnt burn right with nero

googled the extension and it is alcohols iso format

burned it and it worked flawlessly

ooohh. see, my playstation is incompatable with the CD bootdisk. i though you were saying you had the same problem. what i had to do was re-process a few of the system files that make it a CD into a DVD. that way i can use the DVD boot disk even though it was a CD game.

you will probably need to 'un-zip/rar' the download which will result in a DVD image file/s

burn image with any CDR software, if you don't know what to use, search for the ext (eg ISO,IMG,MDF etc)

Place in PS2 and Play :icon_thum

For network sharing you will need the official Sony network adaptor, once you get this, RTFM, and you you are still stuck, just ask the questions

Btw guys, some DVD-9 games are now being ripped, split and spread across two (2) standard DVD-5s, so there shouldn't be many problems with the SwapMagic 3 method! You should try to look for those! God of War II in particular is in this form. KH2FM+ was, until someone got rid of the torrents.
