Yeah, I know. I am hoping that if they release the new iPods this Christmas, the current video pods will come down in price. I don't need the rumored full touchscreen or anything, I just need the space :)

I used to use Ipods as I about 7-8
once my library got over 60GB i was done (now i have 15,000 plus songs)
so now i just use my favorites and have been using my PSP for basic listening.

None. I haven't found the need for one in my life yet. I'm almost always near a computer or MP3 playing CD player to need a hard drive or flash based MP3 player.

XM Helios. Portable Satellite Radio with 1 Gig Harddrive. Records by Channels/Artists and can record new songs at the push of a button with Car Dock and Home Dock. Looks sweet too.

Samsung Yepp 1GB. No DRM whatsoever. Transfer whatever to any computer and unlimited copies with no restrictions.

Smaller than a nano and uses standard AA battery (50 hours+ of life) - no recharging or replacing costly rechargeable batteries. FM radio too.

Currently I have an iPod Nano 2GB (bought it for my holiday) but I think I will upgrade to a 30GB Video iPod because 450 songs (which I have on mine) just isn't enough I'm afraid. Plus I'm getting a new Dell laptop and the HD is 60GB (so around 57GB) and 40GB of music does't leave me with much so.
