Hello.
I downloaded and installed BearShare Pro about six or seven times, and each time, after the program had launched, I got an error message from Windows saying that BearShare Pro had encountered a problem and needed to close. This is incredibly frustrating, obviously, because I just want to be able to start sharing files, but I DO NOT want to download the free version of BearShare.
Has anyone else had this problem? Did you fix it? If not, does anyone know of any other great P2P programs (non torrent) that either have a pro version (I'm willing to pay) or that have a free version that won't install other programs (like BearShare's electonic coupon thing. I think it's called "Save" or something).
Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Just a thought: Do you think it would be better if I downloaded the free version of BearShare and then upgraded to Pro from there? Do you think that would solve the problem?
Thanks for all your help.
