Hey guys I just got Rhapsody but I don't like the 25 song per month limit. I wanted to listen to the songs and record them onto my hard drive so it would be just like downloading. I don't know how Rhapsody knows you have used 25 songs but it does. I don't know if it is based on your ip adress or computer, but I tried a proxy server and that didn't work. If anyone has suggestions on getting around the 25 song limit without paying for the subscription that would be appreciated.

You won't be able to get around that since you have to actually login. Do us all a favour and join us in the world of P2P. There are an abundace of programs that will let you get music onto your hard drive for free and to do with what you please (ShareazaPlus, uTorrent, Frostwire, eDonkey, Limewire, Ares) Come to the darkside, we've got cookies.

I already have limewire and kazaa lite resseruction. I don't think logging in is the issue becuase you can create multiple user names very easily, for instance I used the same user name on 2 different computers and on one it said my music limit was up, while on the other one i still had my 25 songs

You registered from two different IP address then. Unless you keep registering a new ones, this will turn into a tedious process. What is it about Rhapsody you like so much? ShareazaPlus can do the same thing for you without the hassle of limits or costs.

what i love about rhapsody is the fact that I can easily access any song from any album from nearly any artist. With P2P it seems mainly only the hit songs are easily accessible, while others don't have enough users to share.

I have tried limewire kazaa lite, and sharezaa but sharezaa doesn't seem to work with my computer

just a quick update I seem to have gotten around the restriction by simply deleting cookies and Temporary internet files

Rhapsody shouldn't be used by anyone here. There is a large selection of wonderful free P2P programs you can get your hands on. Another one worth mentioning is Frostwire, its got a huge selection of anything your looking for.

depending on what kind of music you are looking for, every p2p will give you different results.

It's basicly the mercora stream directory listenable from the web. QUite a bit of contant, and with the artist title info displayed, it's easy to grab it from wherever you want.
