They Still Don't Like You. In Fact, They Like You Even Less.
A calamity at Dante and Randall's shops sends them looking for new horizons - but they ultimately settle at Mooby's, a fictional Disney-McDonald's-style fast-food empire. Free from his dead-end job (and lodged in a new one), Dante begins to break free of his rut, planning to move away with his clingy fiancé. Dante is ready to leave the horrors of minimum-wage New Jersey behind, but Randal - always the more hostile of the two - starts to become overwhelmed by his own rancor. (courtesy USA Today)

Will you see it? Are you even interested? Can it compare with the first (http://imdb.com/title/tt0109445/)? Have you seen it and do you have any comments?

I find it amusing they're going to work for the golden cow from Dogma.

I wonder if Dante's fiancee will get it on with a corpse in the bathroom of Moobys like his girlfriend did with the old guy that died in the bathroom of the first one. Mooby is a funny name......it stands for man booby

The donkey scene was hilarious. I was dragged to a midnight showing... that's what inspired this thread. :D

Im cautious as Kevin said ages ago that strike back was the last of the Jay and Silent Bob movies.
My fear is he will use the good name of the first one to push an inferior and unneeded sequel
for nothing more than money

Why did you decide to come back to this?
I ran out of ideas. [laughs] I wanted to tell a story about what it felt like to be in my thirties. I thought since Clerks is a story about what it’s like to be in my twenties, why not just use Dante and Randall as the way in again? And there’s something kind of nice; there is a built-in poignancy in showing those guys 10 years later, especially if you open up your head, why not use the dudes who helped you the first time around, the characters particularly. Some people have been like, “It Jersey Girl, man. Since Jersey Girl didn’t work he had to go back to this,” and those cats have missed the target but hit the tree.

I like the scene where the guys are wearing pigtails, as seen in one of the trailers, that's cute.
My friend just posted on his journal about Snakes On A Plane, a new movie he wants to see, and it sounds comedy like Clerks II.

The pigtails thing is a Dogma reference.

*Supposedly* the reason he did this is because he promised the guy that plays Jay that if he made it through rehab and got clean from his heroine addiction he would make another Jay and Silent Bob movie.

I think that was like two movies ago, right after Dogma, when Kevin found out Jay was spikin again. He's been sober and living with Kevin for some time now.

lol. I just finally saw this within the past week. Totally dug the Transformers and LotR references. A worthy sequel.
And Rosario was indeed hot.
