I downloaded some mp3 files that turned out to be dummy files. The files have 0 bytes of data in them now. I can't seem to be able to delete them from my shared files folder. Help, what to do. When I click on delete it always says the files are in use by some other program.

Thanks

I had the same problem with a few Movies, I had to delete the Folder to get rid of it. Luckily I use a different Folder to Download to.

Try restarting in safe mode and deleting the files. Hold ctrl when you restart your computer and choose safe mode. Once there find the file and delete it, then just reboot! Hope that helps.

How did they come about as having a size of 0 b? Did you try to delete them?

You would have to go into DOS to delete these files. Go to programs-->accessories-->MS-DOS prompt. The "del" command deletes in DOS. So you would type in the full path of the file and that should do it. Here is an example:
del c:\my documents\my music\metallica - sad but true.mp3
