Hi Everyone!
I have divx/xvid encoded AVIs with separate .srt,.sub etc subtitle files.
These subtitles are playing fine on VLC.
I am looking for a quicker way to permanently add these subtitles (sort of,burn them permanently) to above movie files, without re-encoding.
I searched at many forums, including videohelp and doom9 etc and all their guides suggest using VirtualDub in combination with VobSub for this task.
Though I have had success in this, the process itself is taking upwards of 2-3 hours for a single 700 MB file. :(
I want to point out that I do not want to re-encode anything, let them remain divx/xvid as they were.
Can anyone help in this ??
Thanks.
