no release since over a yaer ? thought kademlia 2.0 from emule will be implemented ?

Shareaza is not dead, it connects to ED2K and Gnutella perfectly. What you need is ShareazaPlus which automatically connects you to both with more hubs which means faster speeds and better search results.

Shareaza is NOT dead, its just not developed as often as it used to be. The main developer is not on the project any longer, but it is still getting developed by others because it is open sourced.

Even if it wasn't developed, it still remains to be the best multi-networking P2P client.
Yes it would be great if Kademlia 2.0 and DHT support for BitTorrent was added.
But it's works fine just the way it is, no other multi-networking P2P client even comes close to Shareaza.
