I really like the Forrest Gump and Gone in 60 Seconds soundtrack, some really good classics.

Also I love the Austin Powers OST's too and if any one is interested, go check them out at Oink.

Resident Evil had a decent collecition of sounds, and Blade II has a nice little collection as well.

One of my all time favorites is the soundtrack for Judgement Night. Onyx/Biohazard, DeLa Soul/Teenage Fanclub, Del Tha Funky Homosapien/Dinosaur Jr, Helmet/House of Pain, and I can't remember which rock band coupled with Booya T.R.I.B.E., but the whole thing made any wanna be rap/rock destined for failure. Fuck you Fred Durst.

Yeah the Pixies rock.
In a different vein "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" is great stuff even if you're not a big bluegrass fan.

The Perfect Storm is good, I think the all time classic just from originality and sweetness because it comprises almost the entire movie is the soundtrack from The Nightmare Before Christmas

I liked both of these movies, but if I had to watch one again it would be Reservoir Dogs. The soundtrack is better too.

... I'll grab O Brother Where Art Thou ...

I actually saw the actual two performers that sang the hit song in that movie, at the CrossRoads Guitar Festival- Cotton Bowl Stadium, Dallas TX on June 6th 2004 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0439523/)
(Clickity)! (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0439523/)

They were sweeeet!
Don't remember their names though. Until then, I had assumed George Clooney did the vocals! LOL!

My husband and I are in the video too! W00t!
If you look reeeeally close, we are faaar away in the upper part of the stadium, stage left.

George Clooney good but not that good.

The singer is Dan Tyminski w/ Soggy Bottom Boys.

Useless information: The only lead acter to sing in the movie was Tim Blake Nelson the song "In the Jailhouse Now"
Other where the The Cox family "I am weary, let me rest"

"They turn him into a frog"

Crossroads

There a good quality B grade movie from the 80's

I think it is famous for two things

1. The guitar duel - wish the Ralph had more guitar training to make it more believable

2. The Karate Kid himself

Soundtrack - well done Rye what’s he's name (Cooper??)

I almost bought the soundtrack on <*cough*> cassette tape a couple of years ago for...um my husband (yeah, that's it).

I really liked the song about the river (when the sirens are singing to lure the boys in...can't remember the name of that one either).

I searched for it (just the one song) and found other versions of it. But not that version. Great movie! :icon_thum

Do search for "Didn't Leave Nobody But the Baby" the contributing artists are Alison Krauss (who has 2 more tracks on the album); Emmylou Harris and Gillian Welch (also one more track w/ Alison)
