Anyone else peeped this one yet? I like it, action, heaps of violence , gore, you name it, its in there. Maybe not for everyone but as a crime drama I think its aces. If you like tons of style and seeing people popped in the head at close range, enjoy, this one has it in spades. How it got an R rating is way beyond me.
If you avoided this one because of Paul (Fast Furious) Walker like I did, actually I had no clue about this one as there was almost zero promotion for it and was yanked out of theaters quick fast and furious like, trust me when I say you will be surprised by his efforts in this film. I considered him one of the worst actors in the biz before watching RS but now I see much potential if he continues to challenge himself with roles like this.
The critics once again prove they know fuck all about what makes for a good ride. I recommend you pick up your copy of a copy today with one warning: This film touches on some very taboo subject matter and is hard core violent with lots of colorful language thrown in to boot. How awesome is that?!
This is a future cult classic

Sadly, out of the two people from Fast and the Furious, I'd rather see Paul Walker... he can do that one thing they do in movies.... what do yo call it... um.... yeah, that's right, acting! Vin Deisel is a plastic action figure for fanboys and girls.
Anyway, Running Scared was pretty damn good. Some nice little twists in the story line. The whole movie is pretty frantic.
However, it fails to meet the tagline promise:
It does NOT make Kill Bill look like Sesame Street.

Wow, I guess this just goes to show how little this movie has been promoted as no one seems to have seen it. No ads for it of any kind, a silly tittle tacked on to the movie, pulled from most theaters after 2 weeks or not shown at all, I have to wonder why this movies been black listed. This is one flick I plan to buy soon and hope for an unrated version. The best movie Ive seen this year so far, way better than Histroy of Violence and I love that one (way, way, way, way more violent to I might add). It will rock your socks off!
It may not live up to the tag line but it does up the violence a degree. Even QT gives it a nod! How did they get an R rating?

I don't think Hollywood would think that an ad as such, lol
It bombed at the box office. I can only wonder why they allowed such a good movie to slip through their fingers. Its like they set it up to fail or perhaps many theaters refused to show it. Very strange.

Uh, I want to buy it. I already have a copy but I support things that I like with my money so hopefully more things I enjoy will be made. I'm not a total bastard
