Hi everyone, I just thought I would start a thread detailing the programs I use for my windows xp to make it run faster and keep it clean with minimal clicking or hacking involved.

My programs are:

CCleaner
Tuneup Utilities
Ace Utilities

With those three, I have been running at peak efficiency. I would like to hear from the rest of you what all you run.

I have NSW 2005 installed but only for the Quick Web Cleanup and the Fast and Safe Cleanup. I like those because they are quick and the QWC gives me the options to keep the cookies I want (for ZP, Oink, Photobucket ect.) so I dont keep having to log in. Nice icons too :)

I use DCleaner (Disk Cleaner normally) everynow and again because it catches everything, even temp files from the likes of Winamp ect. Check it out here - http://www.zeropaid.com/diskcleaner/

EDIT: A bit of humour for you all.

I have heard good things about Registry Mechanic, I think I will give it a shot soon. I forgot to add that I have Diskeeper (the newest version) as a Defragmenter. It works great.

Thanks Auggie and Lifehacker for contributing :)
