Is it possible to remove drm from a windows media video? I don't have the licence and can't play it.

"Using the latest version of Tunebite (http://www.cdfreaks.com/software/98) you can now also remove DRM from Windows Media Video (WMV) files. Use Tunebite to instantly record the movies and record them back without DRM. The easiest and quickest solution to remove DRM from WMV files.

Tunebite lets you record copy-protected music, audio books and video clips in WMA, M4P, AAC, M4B and MP4 formats by playing them and save them as unprotected MP3, OGG, WMA, WMV or MPEG4 files you can use anywhere!

Have you ever purchased music online and been frustrated because your MP3 player wouldnt support the DRM copy-protection format? Problem solved!

Simply import your protected WMA and M4P music files into Tunebite. Tunebite Premium then plays them with Windows MediaPlayer or Apple iTunes, records them lightening-fast using High-Speed Digital Dubbing and automatically saves them as unprotected MP3, WMA or OGG files. Try it now, free!"

Got it. But I don't have the licence. It still won't open. Guess without that, I'm screwed.

This thread is too much like a crack/serial request.J/k.
What is the file in question, if its DRM, im sure you own it and the license just ran out of it.

Well, Shawners, now that you mention it, that's probably pretty close.

Do I have to close my own thread and ban myself?

Oh please let me do the ban? :) J/K

I guess if the license ran out, your pretty screwed. Can you obtain a new for it?
